Registration

Attendee registration form for your event

The Registration button attaches a public attendee registration form to your event. Attendees sign up through the fields you choose, each one receives a personal QR code, and door staff validate it in real time with the scanning app — QR check-in with no spreadsheets in between.

How to switch it on, step by step

1. Enable registration on the event

Open the event, press the Registration button and activate the public registration page linked to it.

2. Configure the fields and the QR validity

Define the form fields your use case needs, then decide how each QR behaves at the door: single use, a number of scans you set yourself, or unlimited scans per day.

3. Turn on reCAPTCHA

Enable reCAPTCHA to keep automated mass sign-ups out of your attendee list.

4. Publish the URL

Share the public registration link wherever your audience is. Every attendee who registers receives their own QR code for access.

5. Validate at the door

Door staff scan each QR code with the mobile app, and registered attendees are validated in real time (see the guide on the app working online and offline).

What you can configure

  • The registration form fields, matched to your use case.
  • The look of the page, through HTML/CSS — or QRACCESS can adjust it for you.
  • Email validation with a domain picker, so fewer typos reach your attendee list.
  • reCAPTCHA v3 against automated mass registrations.
  • Your own URL, or a white-label page, quoted on request.

When to ask for custom work

Ask for a quote, describing your exact requirements, if you need any of the following:

  • Custom validation of what counts as valid data, or an external integration API.
  • Capacity caps per attendee type or group on the free registration form, instead of only on the total number of registrations.
  • Restricting registration to authorized email domains.
  • A page cloned from the dashboard design with your own branding, your own URL or special rules.
  • QRACCESS handling the whole configuration for you.

Note: for ticket sales you do not need custom work to split up capacity. Per-ticket-type quotas within each session come as standard, on top of the total capacity of the shift (see the guide on selling tickets). Per-type capacity on the free registration form is what gets quoted as custom work.
