September updates: now you control who collects, not just who gets in
A new delivery mode for hampers, uniforms and equipment — returns included. Custom reports, exports with the labels you see on screen, your SMS credentials hidden, and one dated notice that matters only if you text Spanish numbers.
September brought a lot of changes, most of them internal or for particular cases. Here are the four that change something you can actually use, and a dated notice at the end.
New: controlling handovers, not just access
Until now you used QRACCESS to know who comes in. Now it also tells you who collects.
You declare the event as a delivery, and the whole platform switches vocabulary: where it said "entry" it says "handover", and where it said "already scanned" it says "already collected". The mechanics are exactly the ones you know — one unique code per person, single use, repeats rejected, live counter — but the words on screen are the ones your staff are actually saying.
Where that fits:
Christmas hampers, with several collection points and different contents per group. Uniforms, PPE and workwear, with the size or model showing on the screen of whoever hands them over. IT equipment when someone joins — and its return when they leave. Prizes, merchandise and welcome packs.
And the symmetry goes all the way
In access control, the interesting part isn't the entry: it's the exit. Knowing how many people have crossed the door since it opened is useless at seven in the evening; what matters is who is still inside, and who left and hasn't come back.
A handover works the same way with the return. It's what separates a giveaway from a controlled loan.
| Access control | Delivery control |
|---|---|
| Entry | Handover |
| Exit | Return |
| In / Out | Collected / Returned |
| Currently inside | Collected |
| Left and hasn't returned | Returned and hasn't collected again |
Both modes live in the same dashboard: you can run a distribution campaign and a conference at the same time. If December's handover is yours to organise, this is the month you prepare it.

New: custom reports
You can now build your own scan reports, filtering by whatever you need, instead of exporting everything and fighting with a spreadsheet afterwards.
And the records export now lets you choose between the database values or the labels you see on screen. That's the difference between a file you feed into your own system and one you can show someone without explaining what each code means.
New: your account in your language
You can set the account's preferred language in Settings → Details, and the emails going out of your installation carry your brand, not a hard-coded name. If you work as an agency or resell the service, this is what makes your clients see your name instead of ours.
And something you won't see, but that protects you
Your SMS API key and secret are no longer shown in clear text in the panel. If someone reads your screen over your shoulder, or you share a screenshot to ask us for help, your credentials don't travel in it.
The dated notice: September 15
This one only matters if you send SMS to Spanish mobile numbers. If you don't, skip it: nothing changes for you.
From September 15, Spanish carriers block SMS whose alphanumeric sender is not listed in the Spanish regulator's Sender ID Registry.
Your messages will keep arriving. If your sender name isn't registered, your messages to Spain go out under ours, which is. The only thing that changes is the brand name the recipient sees — nothing is lost and there is nothing for you to do.
The block is a Spanish carrier rule for Spanish numbers only: anything you send to any other country goes out exactly as it does today.
As always
All of this is already in your account. There's nothing to update and no setting to change.
If any of the above fits your next event — or December's handover — write to us and we'll go through it with you.
