August updates: faster, more reliable — and two dated notices that can save you trouble (and money)
A renewed platform 4× faster, the definitive fix for offline scans, the September 15 deadline if you send SMS in Spain, and a Mailrelay offer: 25,000 emails that never expire (free with your 2,000-attendee top-up).
August was the biggest month of platform work in years, and almost all of it shares one trait: you didn't have to lift a finger to benefit. Here is what you already have running, with measured numbers — and at the end, two dated notices where moving this week pays off: one saves you trouble, the other saves you money.
Already yours: a renewed platform, 4× faster
We migrated QRACCESS (August 22) and QRACCESS (August 24) to the new version with a seconds-long cutover, in the small hours, with every record, image and credential intact. What you gained without touching anything:
- Venues and zones: sites, zones and per-zone capacity, with numbered seats where needed.
- Per-event, per-channel notices (email/SMS) and access notifications to third parties: the guardian, the company, whoever you choose.
- Attendance certificates fixed: the hours table renders complete with the standard template.
- API up to 4× faster: response time went from ~180 to ~35 milliseconds, measured in production.
- New manuals with screenshots and the API technical documentation in the help centre.
Already yours: offline scans, fixed at the root
If you ever worked without coverage and suspected scans went missing on sync: we found the exact cause and it is fixed and proven at scale — on a 51,000-attendee test event we ran 50,000 scans with 0 losses and 0 duplicates, and a full day's offline queue uploads in seconds.
⏰ Notice 1 — SMS under your company name in Spain: deadline September 15
On 15-09-2026 Spanish carriers start blocking SMS whose alphanumeric sender is not listed in the CNMC Alias Registry. No error, no warning: they simply stop arriving. If you send SMS in Spain under your brand name, there are two steps (not one): create your SMSverifica account and register your alias with the CNMC (form 213). Contact us — we have the safeguards ready and we handle it case by case.

💶 Notice 2 — Mailrelay killed free SMTP. Our fix beats theirs
